OUR FAMILY
The founders of The Berni Bean Coffee Co. come from a family in Costa Rica that has been in the coffee industry for generations. They were born and raised in Costa Rica, enjoying specialty coffee but most importantly finding a passion for it. It’s our joy to share our family tradition and the perfect cup of coffee to wake up the world.
WHAT IS SPECIALTY COFFEE
Specialty coffees have a minimum score of 80 out of 100 points possible. The higher the score, the more balanced, rich, and flavorful your coffee will be! The SCA Rating rules not only take into account the final product, but the quality of the original green bean, the processing of the coffee, and much more.
